On cloudy, cold November afternoon, an intrepid group of club members traveled north to visit Don Clerk's HO scale layout. Don's layout features several levels with large tree covered hills and impressive rockwork. The layout is set in the steam era and includes an interchange with a narrow gaugue railroad. Don showed the members how he made some of his buildings and stone bridges using various wood burning techniques as well as gave an overview on how he made his trees. All in all, a good time was had by all in attendance.
