The transition module needs side barriers, which need not be transparent, to stop trains “doing a Galileo.”
March 12 at 10:00 Big Blue is to be unloaded at Larry’s. All hands to be informed.
March 13 is the date of the next meeting.
Jim and Mrs. Delany are stuck “down under” perhaps in New Zealand.
Ross McLean (and Sally soon) have gone back to Australia.
Clarke will find out about uniforms; what are the cost and style options? Stu urges all members to pay attention to their uniforms, even G scalers.
Although adding backdrops is a good idea, fixing the glass is more important.
Don has found an old copy of the bylaws. No doubt they have been amended from time to time. Jim S. will chair a committee to recommend changes to the bylaw.
Jonathan is in a position again to host train sessions at his home. He asked whether Monday or Wednesday is preferred.
Bill P. says Christ the King is available for train shows, not as a money maker, but as a social thing. Bill was asked to suggest a date in May.
Jim S. wants to have something done to commemorate the Club’s 30th Anniversary. One suggestion is to have a module 12 ft to 16 ft in length, which can easily fit into a layout, specifically designed for new club members learning to drive trains.
Some work is proposed in connection with the power house, mountain, sawmill, and the “trains stuck in the tunnel” problem.Respectably submitted by John Waller, Secretary
