Don was absent but sent his report in to M. Watrous. No activity in August. Cash on hand $12.15, Checking $5211.86. Will be paying insurance this month - same as last year $781.00
Depending on the apron design it’s about $12-$16 per apron. It is $5 per apron for the logo & $6 for personalization. There is a onetime set up fee of $40. Min. order is 12 items. Andrew will have an official quote next month with apron choices.
October 1st - Niantic small layout in a barn 10-3. Jim will send out email with final info. (Editor’s Note: Show canceled)
October 22nd - New Haven Historical Train Show: Jim is having difficulty coordinating with the organization. Stay Tuned. (Editor’s Note: We are not going)
November 12th - West Hartford show: Both HO & the G gaugers will be attending this year. Jim is working on final track plan. More info to follow.
Deerfield & Berkshire Brewery - Amanda is working on plans for a trip to the yard in Deerfield and a local brewery tour, tentatively planned for Columbus Day Weekend. Stay Tuned.
P&W railfan excursion Sold Out, but Amanda was thinking it would be fun to chase the train. contact her if you are interested.
Possible trips club members are considering are a Baltimore Ohio Railroad Museum Trip, Roanoke Virginia Trip, Case, NMRA 2017 Orlando. If you have any idea for trips please bring the up.
Merrill has been in touch with a local Boy Scout troop, about doing a presentation at a round table meeting on the 1st Wednesday of the month. Currently there are no scouts working on their railroad merit badge, but we would hope to spark some interest. We need to decide on what month we would like to present on, and give them a month or two notice.

Andrew is interested in making some more puff ball trees. Stay tuned for date.
