Pequot Yard

To celebrate the club's 30th anniversary in late 2010 and early 2011, the club decided to build a yard module. This module was to feature a scene along the banks of the Thames River near our home base of operations. The yard features four tracks along with three industry spots including a pair of team tracks (one with an overhead crane and the other with a loading dock) and a metal scrap yard. A set of bridges carries the mainlines over a small tributary to the river which is represented along the front edge of the module. The entire scene was built on a gentle curve so as to avoid to many parallel lines typically found on these types of yard modules.
